Eemann Tech CLASSIC MAJOR Recoil Springs for 1911/2011 Pistols

Eemann Tech Recoil Springs Calibration Pack "CLASSIC MAJOR" is designed for 1911/2011 pistols and their clones with a 5" barrel length.

The Calibration Pack "CLASSIC MAJOR" includes Progressive Recoil Springs ranging from 15 lbs. to 18 lbs., commonly used in "CLASSIC (MAJOR)" 1911/2011 pistols as classified by IPSC rules.

“CLASSIC MAJOR” pack contains:

• ET-111335 / 15 lbs - 1 pc.
• ET-111336 / 16 lbs - 1 pc.
• ET-111337 / 17 lbs - 1 pc.
• ET-111338 / 18 lbs - 1 pc.

Progressive Recoil Springs differ from common springs by having a reducing distance between coils starting from the middle of the spring to the last coil.

When under pressure, the spring functions in two phases:

• 1st Phase: The first half of the spring, with identical coil distances, begins compressing.
• 2nd Phase: Once the first half is fully compressed, the second half with reduced coil distance begins compressing.

Each coil increases the spring compression. Full compression provides maximum resistance and reduces recoil impulse.

Every Eemann Tech Recoil spring has a unique color for easy visual identification of its power value throughout its service life. All springs are painted with polymer heat-treated paint, which remains flexible and does not damage or dye the handgun internally.

Note:

• Installation of the progressive recoil spring for 1911/2011 by a certified gunsmith is recommended.

No fitting is required for most cases, allowing for instant installation. However, some pistols may differ in production or be pre-modified, requiring the assistance of a certified gunsmith for installation.
